Documenting the Recovery of the Harris Chain
The following charts were compiled from data obtained from the
results of Captain Mike Antley's weekly tournament.
The charts begin with 1991, which was the low point and the year of the
disastrous B.A.S.S. Tournament. The five fish limit was
implemented around 1994.
Using the total weight of the top
three finishes in each tournament as an indicator, weights climbed
from 26.20 pounds per tournament in 1991 to 42.9 pounds in 2001.
During the same period the average big fish rose from 4.3 pounds in
1991 to 8.0 pounds in 2001. |
